Awaken & Align
Strength in Motion
Kids & Teen Yoga

Picture
As a physical therapist and yoga teacher, Kara brings a thoughtful and grounded approach to movement that blends strength, mobility, alignment, and mindfulness. Her classes are designed to help students feel more confident, connected, and at ease in their bodies while creating space for growth at every level of practice.

Kara is especially passionate about making yoga approachable and accessible for beginners, while also supporting experienced students who want to deepen their strength, stability, and self-awareness through intentional movement.

Her teaching reflects a deep belief that movement can be a powerful tool for healing, resilience, balance, and self-trust — both on and off the mat. In addition to adult classes, Kara enjoys working with children and young athletes, helping them develop strength, mobility, flexibility, coordination, and body awareness while cultivating mindfulness, confidence, and emotional resilience.

She believes that developing a sense of grounding, self-awareness, and connection within oneself is an essential foundation for young children and athletes — both in movement and in life. From that place of individual balance and confidence, they are better able to contribute positively to the collective energy, support, connection, and success of a team.

We’re grateful to have Kara sharing her warmth, knowledge, and presence within the Moksha community 💛

Vinyasa

Picture

Bonnie is a practicing, registered nurse with more than 40 years of experience. Her commitment to health and wellness remains steadfast. She was inspired by her father (an atomic physicist) at a young age to study the energetic body and energy healing soon became her passion.  She completed healing studies in the Eden Method under the direction of Peggy Koelliker at The Healing Connection, including Energy Testing Substances, and Shin Jyutsu Class/Balance the Emotion of Panic as well as obtaining a certification in Advanced Reiki Training.  As a Reiki Master, she completed the four required courses in the Usui Shiki Ryoho method of Reiki.

While pursuing her Reiki Master certification, Bonnie felt called to further explore yoga, seeking a greater understanding of the purpose behind the postures, proper alignment, and the energetic principles woven throughout the practice. This curiosity led her on an enriching eight-month transformation journey, earning her RYT 200 Yoga Teacher certification under the guidance of Suann Polverari, Shiva Shakti School of Yoga. Committed to lifelong learning, she continues to expand her knowledge through advanced studies in yoga, energy healing, anatomy, and holistic wellness.

Bonnie brings another dimension of holistic well-being to the Moksha community, guiding each yogi to step into their personal power through mindful movement, balanced energy, hands-on energy work (optional) and a deeper connection to body, mind, and spirit. She is most passionate working with those new to yoga, ensuring proper alignment in all poses and transitions, creating the strong understanding and technique needed to progress and deepen students' yoga practice.

Instructor

Yoga in the Park
Community Class
Vinyasa

Picture
Mary Ellen has explored various styles of yoga throughout her adult life. After a hiatus due to spinal cord damage and not knowing if she would be able to return to the physical practice of yoga, she took a chance and walked into Moksha Yoga and onto her mat again. It was then that her true healing began, not just physically but mentally, emotionally and spiritually. This new and richer relationship to yoga inspired Mary Ellen to pursue her 200-hour yoga certification under the guidance of Open Doors Weymouth; in order to guide, encourage and celebrate others on their unique yoga journeys.

Her first priority in teaching is to create a safe, supportive and a celebratory environment for all. She embraces Slow Flow vinyasa yoga for building strength and balance, yin yoga for facilitating deep fascial release, and restorative yoga and Nidra meditation for nurturing rest and renewal of the nervous system. Mary Ellen is a forever student and currently pursuing education in functional movement, somatic movement and therapeutic yoga.

Manifest a Better Life

Picture
The ocean energizes me, nature restores me, and dogs bring me endless joy. My journey has been filled with both challenges and growth—corporate burnout, divorce, and seasons of self-doubt—but also deep healing, rediscovery, and transformation. What I discovered through that journey is that struggle can be a doorway to transformation. And you don’t have to walk through it alone. As a certified wellness coach, meditation teacher, and guide who integrates gentle somatic practices, I understand the weight of stress and the longing for something more meaningful. My approach blends practical coaching with mindfulness, body-based awareness, and compassionate support. Together, we’ll uncover your strengths, quiet the inner critic, and design a path that supports who you truly are—inside and out.

The rest is now history. Today Leo lives, eats and sleeps yoga and Reiki. Leo completed his 200hr YTT with Rolf Gates in 2011. His mission is to inspire other human beings, particularly those struggling with life, to become healed and to change and grow by sharing every bit of knowledge and wisdom he has gained throughout his lifetime. In order to do this, his immediate mission is to prepare himself fully by adding missing arrows to his quiver and developing all the skills necessary to successfully achieve his mission. To this end, in 2018, Leo completed his 300hr YTT with Jacqui Bonwell and together with a sensational group of human beings is now a 500hr RYT. Since 2016, Leo has done extensive training in the Chakras with Anodea Judith.
